Three Days

This was my first time using chalk pastels. The project took me 3 days from start to finish, and it was put in last minute with my highschool's entries to a local art show (April 2004) where, much to my surprise, it ended up winning Best of Show. It was a very special moment, which went something like this...

*enters building to check out the show, approaches welcome table*
"Hello, what's your name?"
"Jenny Jenkins."
"YOU'RE Jenny Jenkins????!!!"
"Um...yeah?..." *scared*
"Didn't you see???"
"See what?"
"Look behind you on the wall there."
*sees this picture with a blue ribbon on it* *omgosh*
