This was my first time going minimalistic (Taylor Swift was really more like mediumistic or high exposure I'd say) so oddly enough it took me about as long as it would normally take for full shading (approx 6 hrs, I didn't keep accurate track though). I think it's because I slowed down to stay cautious of not going too dark, and constantly erasing areas where I started creating too much shading. And then I kept changing my mind about how I did the hair entirely haha.

It's been SOOO tempting to fill the whole thing out, the original photo is just so beautiful [link] but after admiring all of Ileana's [link] work, I really wanted to give the that style a shot. It's not NEARLY as impressive as those of course, since I stayed much smaller scale and didn't go into NEARLY as much eye detail which makes her work stand out so much, but it was an interesting new experience
